about

Halleluiah! Praise the Lord! The Gentleman Callers of LA are back with a stonking new electro-swing tune for 2015.
“Go tell that long tongue liar,
go and tell that midnight rider,
tell the rambler, the gambler, the backbiter,
tell ‘em that God’s gonna cut ‘em down.”
Modeled around the traditional American folk song ‘God’s Gonna Cut You Down’ famously covered by Johnny Cash, Moby, and The Blind Boys Of Alabama, LA’s finest laptop swingers Atom Smith and Buck Down have reinvigorated this cautionary tale of sinners never escaping God’s judgment for the electro-swing generation.
On remix duties are Skeleton Bay, Sound Nomaden, and Dutty Moonshine. The former are Italian producer Daniele Ceccarni plus a secret cohort, and their mix is set directly for the heart of the dance floor. Electro synth stabs meets four-to-the-floor driving beats, it’s sure to be a winner for many electro-swing and house DJs. Oxford-based mash-up swingers Dutty Moonshine add the wobble bass and filters for their equally infectious remix, whilst Germany’s award winning electro-swing DJ/producer Sound Nomaden dubs it up with his skippy bass-heavy rerub.
Three finely crafted remixes for discerning DJs, and a stellar new tune from those naughty Gentleman Callers.
